About Carlos

Carlos Fernandez holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Berklee College of Music. As a Certified Teacher with more than 20 years as a professional musician performing, recording, and touring, he’s clocked thousands of hours teaching guitar and drums to students of all ages. His approach blends formal training with the practical skills working musicians use: technique and reading, but also groove, feel, and improvisation, all delivered through calm guidance and steady, measurable progress.

Lessons are available in-studio at Bayonne, online through video calls, and privately lessons at your own home, tailored to each student's goals — whether you're picking up a guitar for the first time or getting back behind the drum kit as an adult. Every student gets clear feedback and a teaching relationship built for long-term growth.
